Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 July 2026

Yomy (yomy.app) is a private event app used to share event details with invited guests and collect their RSVPs. This policy explains what information we collect and how it is used.

Information we collect

When you sign in with your email address or Google account, we store your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile photo. If you choose, you can also add a profile photo, a short bio, RSVP responses, dietary requirements, plus-one details, chat messages and photos you upload to the gallery.

How we use it

Your information is used only to run the event app: showing your RSVP to the organisers, displaying your profile to other invited guests, sending event reminders, and enabling chat with the organisers. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond the event.

Sign-in with Google

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your basic profile information (name, email address and profile photo). We do not access your contacts, calendar, files or any other Google data.

Where your data is stored

Data is stored securely with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Access is restricted so guests can only see information intended for invited members of their event group.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, change your RSVP or remove uploaded photos at any time in the app. If you would like your account and data deleted, contact the organisers at marklamb123@gmail.com and we will remove it.
